The online vision test is a prescription renewal service and you must be wearing your current eyeglasses/contact lenses to take the test.

Check Eligibility - To ensure that you are eligible to take the online vision test, you'll start by answering a few, simple questions, including your birthday, where you live, and information about your current vision prescription. There are certain age, location, and vision health requirements to qualify for taking our vision test.

In order to be eligible for the online vision test, you must:

-Reside in a U.S. state where our test is currently activated (you can view the list of activated states here

-Be between the age of 18-55

-Have no health conditions that may affect your vision

-Your current contacts and/or glasses prescription will also need to meet the following parameters: Emmetropic, Myopic with spherical power between “-0.25 and -12.00”, Hyperopic with spherical power between “+0.25 and + 6.0 “, Astigmatic with cylinder power between CYL “-0.25 and -5.00”, Presbyopic with ADD power between “+0.25 and +4.00”

- The online vision test is a prescription renewal service, so the doctor will want to know your previous prescription so they know what they need to renew for you!

Complete vision test - Next, you'll complete the vision test to renew your prescription and it will only take you about 5 minutes. Be sure to have 10 feet of space so you can accurately test your vision and follow the on-screen instructions to properly set up your space for the test

Doctor review - A licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist in your state will review your test results, medical history, and prior prescription in order to issue your new prescription or provide you with other clinical guidance within 24 hours (M-F).

Receive results - Our vision exam partner will notify you when the licensed doctor has approved your prescription or provided you with other clinical guidance. After a licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist has issued your prescription, you will receive an email from Optimized Eye Care, Visibly's doctor network, with your prescription.

Please note: Prescriptions are issued solely at the discretion of the ophthalmologist or optometrist who reviews your test results. If they decide it’s in your best interest to not receive a prescription based on your responses from the online eye test, you will be notified and fully refunded for the cost of the test.
